Refund Policy

Last updated August 13, 2026

This is our policy on refunds and cancellation for a Larder subscription. It matches the refund and cancellation terms in our Terms of Service.

1. Who sells your subscription

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and as the seller for the transaction. Paddle handles billing, invoicing and applicable sales taxes.

2. Subscription fees are non-refundable

Once a monthly payment is taken it is not refunded, including for the current billing period. Cancelling leaves your access running until the end of the month you paid for (see section 3), so no part of a paid period is lost. This does not affect correcting a genuine billing mistake, such as a duplicate charge.

The one exception is where applicable consumer-protection law requires a refund — in those jurisdictions (for example parts of the EU), that mandatory right always takes precedence over this policy.

3. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing inside the app. Cancelling stops the next charge only; it does not end the plan you have already paid for. You keep full access until the end of that period, after which your account becomes read-only.

4. Free trial

New accounts get 14 days free, and no payment card is required to start. Nothing is charged during the trial, so there is nothing to refund for it. If you do not choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, your account simply becomes read-only.

5. What happens to your data

Cancelling never deletes your data. A cancelled or expired account becomes read-only — you can still sign in and see every count, recipe, price and order you entered — and everything is restored the moment you resubscribe. You can export or request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Governing law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, where Larder is operated, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country gives you rights that cannot be waived.

7. Contact

Email support@larder.day. If a charge looks wrong, tell us and we will look into it. We reply within 24 hours on business days — there is no live chat, because our team is in a different time zone to most of our customers and we would rather answer properly than quickly.
